Eddie Murphy is still alive - despite what Twitter says

Eddie Murphy did not die this morning, 3AM can confirm.
A twitter rumour erupted over the weekend that the stand-up comedian, who has been the subject of a Twitter death hoax before, had been killed in a freak snowboarding accident.
"Apparently Eddie Murphy is dead! Snowboarding accident," one user wrote.
"I heard that Eddie Murphy is dead today # RIP " said another."
It seems the rumour emerged following Paul Walker's tragic death on Saturday, when fans were refusing to believe the Fast & Furious star had been killed.
"I'm hearing tons of Paul Walker is dead stuff. Well.. keep in mind that Eddie Murphy died 8 times," wrote one user.

"Paul isn't dead, it's a hoax. Same thing happened to Eddie Murphy," said another.
But when it was confirmed that the Fast actor had died, the Eddie rumours just escalated.
But when we contacted his publicist, they confirmed: "Eddie Murphy has not died."
Eddie is the latest in a long line of celebrities to be victim to a Twitter death hoax.

In 2010, Celine Dion was rumoured to have been killed in a plane crash, and Morgan Freeman was said to have died at his home.
